Klumpke Paralysis
Also, known as Klumpke's Palsy, this is a type of paralysis or palsy resulting from traumatic birth injury. A newborn who has had nerve damage can end up with Klumpke Paralysis, which can be a permanent and debilitating condition. Unfortunately, Klumpke Paralysis can be due to medical negligence, if a doctor failed to appropriately respond to an obstetric emergency, or incompetently performed delivery of the newborn.
