Unnecessary Amputation
It does seem impossible to believe, but some patients have had arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers or toes unnecessarily amputated. Perhaps a primary care physician misdiagnosed a problem, or perhaps an attending physician misread a chart. It goes without saying that an unnecessary amputation is an act of outrageous medical malpractice.
