Unnecessary Transplant
There are times when a physician, in failing to understand the nature of a problem with an organ, wrongly determines that the best course of action is to perform a transplant. The damage such a transplant can cause may be immeasurable. When such a transplant occurs, the resulting effects can alter the very quality of life for the recipient of the transplant. A good medical malpractice case may result from a situation in which the physician departed from accepted medical practice in performing the transplant.
